If you prefer Nordic skiing, the resort of Bas Rupts connects those of La Bresse and Xonrupt-Longemer offering more than one hundred kilometers of tracks! Not to mention, for the most adventurous ones, a ski jump of 65 meters. If the snow conditions are not there, snow cannons ensure a decent level of snow.

If Gerardmer is a winter paradise, it is also great place during the summer, thank to its lake and the various activities it offers to its visitors: sailing, rowing, diving, canoeing... In addition to the lake, you can also discover the regions through the various footpaths that appear when the snow melts, walking or mountain biking... The Regional Natural Park of the Ballon des Vosges is a must see. This is the occasion for nature lovers to discover a diverse fauna and flora.

Last but not least, the region is also famous today, thank to the International Fantastic Film Festival that has made Gerardmer the place to be in January.
